At the beginning of April 2022, our CEO Ronny Zingre became a father for the first time. In order to really enjoy the first months with his baby and to support his wife as best he can, Ronny takes four months of paternity leave. He also wants to set an example for modern employment conditions with longer parental leave for fathers as well.

#Workation

Combining work with vacation - in other words, "workation" - but does that really function? and if so, how...? At MBV, we attach great importance to giving our employees the desired freedom and therefore started the experiment. Our Product Designer Martin Hitz took two months of workation and reports about his experiences with the combination of surfing life and everyday business life.

Flexibility


  • 40 hrs standard working time + 1 hr compensatory time per week
  • Bridging days off (Christmas, Ascension, total 5-7 days)- they will be compensated by the compensatory time
  • Flexible working hours
  • Home office incl. equipment if required
  • 5 weeks vacations

Compensation


  • Market-oriented base salary
  • Total compensation equals 13 x monthly salary + 1 x gratuity in the maximum amount of one monthly salary
  • Gratuity depends on company-wide team performance and business results

  • We are insured with AXA Leben AG (pension fund)
  • Employer contribution is 60%
  • You can choose between 2 different plans
  • Non-occupational accidents and daily sickness benefits are covered by MBV at 100%

our induCTION PROGRAM

It is important to us to introduce new employees to MBV comprehensively and professionally. That's why you will not only get to know every department along our value chain as well as your new team colleagues during the first weeks, but also have the chance to lend a hand right from the start. Not only here at MBV, but also in production at our sister company Femron AG. 

Take a look behind the scenes of production and try your own hand at various assembly steps, have a look over the shoulders of our service team during the sensitive calibration of our precision instruments, get inspired by future-oriented product ideas in the RnD, learn from our product managers about the diverse needs of our customers, brainstorm with our marketing team about upcoming social media contributions and experience the busy day-to-day life in the back office.
