The MAS-100 NT 6022 is the world's only microbial air sampler certified according to VDI 6022. It ensures maximum measurement reliability for hygiene inspections of ventilation and air-conditioning systems in accordance with VDI 6022/ SWKI VA 104-01 and is a seal of quality for the work of a hygiene inspector.
It can be used to determine the germ counts in the supply air and the defined reference air. The comparison of these gives an indication of the microbiological air quality in indoor spaces.

The world's best-selling microbial air sampler and the base model of the MAS-100 NT 6022. The only difference between the two versions is that the MAS-100 NT does not bear a test label and is not supplied with a certificate.

Specialized in microbiological air monitoring in various cleanroom classes with zone change: the MAS-100 NT with a factory-installed HEPA H13 air outlet filter to protect against carry-over of contamination.

MEASUREMENT RELIABILITY
The tests for the certification of our MAS-100 NT® 6022 were carried out by gui-lab Ing.-Büro Dr. Winkens and were successfully completed in January 2019. The certificate confirms that supply air measurements carried out with the MAS-100 NT comply with the requirements of the guideline VDI 6022 Part 1:2018.

GOOD TO KNOW
IMPACTION PRINCIPLE in microbial air sampling
For active microbial air sampling based on the impaction principle, a predefined volume of air is drawn through a perforated sieve. The air and the particles in it are accelerated and directed onto a nutrient plate positioned below the sieve.
Due to inertia, particles above a certain size are impacted onto the nutrient medium. After appropriate incubation, microbe-bearing particles become visible as colony forming units (CFU), can be counted and reported as CFU/m3. The particle size at which 50% of the particles impact and the other half remain in the air stream is called the cut off diameter d50 (um).
Great emphasis is placed on precision in the manufacture of MBV perforated sieves. This ensures that the cut off diameter is identical in all holes and that microbial air sampling is repeatable.
