The premium version of our portable MAS-100 instruments, the MAS-100 NT, as well as its explosion-proof version MAS-100 NT Ex, are specified for use in class 5 cleanrooms according to ISO 14644-1 (GMP grade A). The built-in fan emits essentially no particles, therefore no additional air outlet filter is required. 

For maximum protection, the filter versions of the instruments - MAS-100 NT HEPA and MAS-100 NT Ex HEPA - minimize the probability of particle carryover when moving from a lower to a higher cleanroom class. The particle filter is placed at the very end of the air duct. This arrangement reduces the dead volume within the air sampler, minimizes the risk of particle transfer, and maintains the full functionality of the MAS-100 NT or MAS-100 NT Ex.

  • Equipped with factory-fitted, self-replaceable HEPA H13 filter
  • Can be used in ISO 14644-1 cleanroom class 5/GMP Grade A without air outlet filter
  • Service life of the filter at least for a recommended calibration interval of one year.
